  1. FW 190A AIR-TO-AIR BOMBING TRAINING
  2.  
  3. A myriad of special weaponry was created 
  4. by the Luftwaffe to enable them to cope
  5. with the diversity of tactical 
  6. situations they faced.  Some of these,
  7. such as the SG 500 Jagdfaust vertically
  8. launched rocket, were highly effective
  9. and relatively easy to use.  Others,
  10. such as air-to-air, time-fused bombs,
  11. were not as successful, and thus not
  12. widely used.

  14.                     YOUR MISSION
  15.  
  16. You are lined up for a stern approach
  17. above a formation of four B-17s.  Arm
  18. the 551 lb., delayed-fuse bomb mounted
  19. under the fuselage of your FW 190A-8.  
  20. Fly straight and level until you are 
  21. almost directly over the bombers.  Drop
  22. the bomb and immediately break up and
  23. away from the B-17s.  If you time the
  24. release correctly, the bomb should
  25. explode in the midst of the bomber
  26. formation.

  28. Your FW 190A has unlimited ammunition,
  29. including bombs.
